THE CLASS OF 2018 is off to the next chapter of their lives: 277 of them will continue their education at colleges and universities across the country; 16 will enter the workforce; and 7 will serve in the United States Armed Forces.

At their commencement ceremony on Friday, June 22, they were a cheerful and supportive group, as many of them were recognized with awards and scholarships. Principal Ken Hauck and Superintendent of Schools Brian Monahan addressed the 300 graduates with words of praise, confidence and encouragement. Student addresses were presented by Class President Sierra Mitts, Salutatorian James Drake, and Valedictorian Brandon Bell.

Giving to the community was one of the hallmarks of The Class of 2018. We thank them for the difference they have made in their school and in Minisink Valley, and wish them many new, challenging and fulfilling opportunities ahead.

You will be remembered. You will be missed!
